Shawn Scott

As a native of Phoenix, Shawn is passionate and knowledgeable about the Valley golf market.  Shawn’s experience dates back to 2004, where he started working in Guest Services at Terravita Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale.  Shawn completed two summer internships in golf operations at The Club at Black Rock, in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  Shawn came to Whirlwind in 2013 to serve in the role of Tournament Coordinator.  In 2015, he was promoted to Head Golf Professional and now leads the golf department as Whirlwind’s Director of Golf.  Shawn is a Class A member of the PGA of America. He is an accomplished player and instructor.

In his free time, Shawn enjoys outdoor activity.  He has a passion for hunting, fishing and hiking.  One of his favorite places to visit is Big Bear Lake, California. Shawn has a German Shorthair Pointer named Payson.
