Tim Flanigan

Tim grew up in Murphysboro, a small town in Southern Illinois. He enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball throughout his high school years and went on to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tim moved to the Valley in 1987 where he began his career in the restaurant business. He spent 15 years in Old Town Scottsdale overseeing several venues. In the mid-90s he served as the General Manager of the Famous Door, a jazz supper club, and in 2001 he enjoyed a decade-long run as operating partner of FURIO, a hip upscale Italian eatery.

Since 2010, Tim has served as the Director of Food and Beverage here at Whirlwind Golf Club. Tim and his wife, Nicki enjoy a busy life with their two young sons, Quinn and Teague.
